Short Creek Spirits was built in Colorado City, Arizona, where red cliffs, open skies, and the waters flowing from Water Canyon define the landscape. This high-desert setting shapes how we approach our work: resourcefully, deliberately, and with a deep respect for place. Canyon water becomes part of every spirit we bring to bottle, creating a direct connection between the land surrounding us and the experience inside each glass. We distill gin and rum, develop new expressions, and carefully select, blend, proof, finish, and bottle whiskey. Some spirits begin in our stills. Others begin with mature whiskey selected from respected American producers and are transformed through blending, proofing, finishing, and the use of our canyon water. Whatever its origin, every product must meet the same standard: it must be honest about what it is, thoughtfully prepared, and worthy of carrying the Short Creek name.
